Menu Plan Monday ~ June 1st


Here is my first post to orgjunckie's Menu Plan Monday's. Even though I've been menu planning since the beginning of the year, I decided to follow orgjunkie to get further inspired and ideas for our family. My goal, obviously, is to eat healthy to lose weight. If your from orgjunkie, I just had a baby in March and I'm two pounds away from 30lbs weight loss! I have a 4 year old who will almost eat anything.... we taught her early to eat all the food on her plate. She loves to cook with me and isn't afraid of veggies, thank God! Oh, I also use MealsMatter.com to stay organized with my menu planning and plan around coupons most of the time. Just finished stocking for the summer. So hopefully I won't have to waste much gas going to the grocery store.

SO here I go:

Monday: Chicken Stir-fry and brown rice
Tuesday: Won-ton soup n egg rolls
Wednesday: Chicken lasanga with salad
Thursday: Spaghetti n meatballs with salad
Friday: Tomato spinach pizza with corn bean salad
Saturday: Leftover Day
Sunday: Sandwhich Day (turkey, ham, tuna or egg)

ps. Saturday and sometimes Friday are leftovers day and Sunday is usually Sandwhich day, where I'm tired, I like to rest and you make your own sandwhich. Always stocked up on mayo or miracle whip, eggs and ham.

One whole workout

I finally did one whole workout! Yesterday.... was yvette's last day of school, I woke up to wish her a good day, and took her picture! And then I stayed up to do some housework, made breakfast and then did my warm up and then some strength training with weights. This morning I'm sore! I hope to keep it up! I've been losing weight, but not because of exercise, but because of so much housework I've been doing. Going to do the meal plan for next week.... I'll post later.

Slowly

After eating like a pig. I've been doing pretty good. Today I made beef tacos and I got myself a bowl, put tons of lettuce, tomato and some cheese and very little meat and a tad of ranch dressing. I've been doing the Women's Health Mag Belly Off workouts. I've only been doing the warm-ups... but hey, got to start somewhere, right?
Hopefully I'll start doing the actual work-outs now.

Weekend weight gain.

I gained a couple lbs this weekend. We went to Corpus to visit family for three days. Of those three days I didn't do much exercise but I did sweat! It was soooo hot. I did have breakfast lunch and dinner, but at least one was not as good as it could have been. I had at least a salad a day. And a fruit snack.Since I've been back home, two days now; i've also had a salad for lunch. This week the whole family is home because they closed the school till next week. 5 suspected cases.
