Another busy weekend

So, this weekend was super busy. Family, kids and dog! I skipped another few days of wearing my pedometer... but I did do lots of walking, not as much as I wanted though.
Today I walked 2,829 steps.
I plugged in my DDR today, so tomorrow morning hubby's going to run errands, so I can do some in the morning. I also have laundry to do as well, so that should get more steps in.

3k and not half the day done

Yeah me... yesterday I got in 3,412 and this morning, after dropping off DD at school i went to the Flea market and got in 3,562 steps! I am so excited... my feet hurt and i'm sweaty, but excited. I hope I can keep it up. I'm going to get off my @ss now and do laundry n dishes... ahhh

It's a new day

I didn't forget my pedometer.... Sunday I walked 5,683 steps and Monday I walked 3,528 steps. Significantly less, but way better than last week. Today I'm striving for a medium of 4k. Wish me luck!

Menu Plan Monday



OMG!!! I haven't menu planned in a while. I've been so busy trying to get my DD ready for school.... we also went to corpus for a whole week and then I got sick! Ahh, before I knew it I was up at 7am to take my DD to school! So, tonight I went to the kitchen and jotted down all my items and estimated how many servings I could get from what was there. I then sat on my cough, watching "You've Got Mail" and see what menus I could plan with what I had. I can't go grocery shopping until September 1st. Boy is that going to be hard! So here is the menu for this week:

ps. I'm doing breakfast, lunch & dinner. With a 5 year old in school and a baby, being organized is a huge help!

Monday
Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs
Lunch: Leftovers from graduation party!
Dinner: Sausage tacos with rice n potato salad
Tuesday
Breakfast: Cheese omelet
Lunch: Grilled Chicken Breast in tomato sauce w/spanish rice n potato salad (leftovers)
Wednesday
Breakfast: Pancakes
Lunch: Zatarans (jumbalaya)
Dinner: Chicken n broccoli stir fry w/white rice
Thursday
Breakfast: Cheese Omelet
Lunch: Hamburger helper (hubby's request)
Dinner: Grilled chicken breasts n cheesy potatoes
Friday
Breakfast: Oatmeal n apples
Lunch: Ham n Cheese Sandwiches
Dinner: Eating Out @ Willie-B's (winner of a twitter-contest, 10%off!)

I forgot it

Today I woke up early to take my mom to work and I was suppose to take a shower and go do some contract work, but I feel back to sleep. Anyways after I did what I had to do hubby wanted to go over to Harlingen to eat BBQ @ Smokey Joe's. We ended up going to the mall after wards to do some walking and price shopping (for tax free weekend) and I FORGOT MY PEDOMETER! Darn-it! So I'm averaging I walked more than yesterday. After that we went to do some returns at bealls and did some more walking. I plan on doing some more walking tomorrow when I plan on finishing my back-to-school shopping.

One step at a time

We all know how hard it is to get a darn walking routine done. Well, i got a pedometer from my uncle and I've been trying to get off my hinee a bit more. I've been doing pretty good. But haven't really made it out to the track. Excuses... I know! I hate them. Anyone wanna do a challenge? A challenge always gets me motivated?! COMMENT & challenge me!
